We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our team as Safety Coordinator. 

 

Things You’ll Do 

  • Attend field job sites and review/monitor/safety compliance 
  • Get to know the workforce and build a relationship of trust 
  • Perform safety inspections of company facilities, production plants, and equipment, then follow up with stakeholders on findings 
  • Conduct safety trainings and attend site safety meetings 
  • Analyze and report on incident trends and functions as the safety expert on all safety related issues
  • Ensure compliance with and administers OSHA, MSHA and USDOT regulations. 

 

Requirements 

  • Working knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations 
  • 3+ years of safety management experience 
  • The ability to establish trusting and partnered relationships with all people 
  • Excellent conflict management and problem-solving skills 
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration 
  • An insurable driving record 
  • Bachelor’s Degree, safety-related is preferred but not required
