The lab technician is an important member of our team as we work together to build better communities. Here are some of the things you will do:

• Perform data filing and quality assurance sample storage.
• Perform the quality control testing of soils, aggregate and asphalt and report results to your lab supervisor.
• Assist with equipment calibration
• Responsible to input tracking data into the lab database.
• Sample HMA at hot plants and projects.
• Be able to calculate and report through computer programs.

• Preferred to have WAQTC: asphalt, aggregate and density ACI
• Nuclear safety training for portable gauges.
• Knowledge of aggregate products and industry quality standards.
• Intermediate computer skills
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift and other physical activity
• Develop knowledge of scales, shakers, ovens, and sieves.
• Strong work ethic
