Are you looking to begin your career in the construction industry? We are seeking an experienced Cuber Operator will operate masonry cubing machine to manufacture masonry block products. We provide excellent training, competitive pay, and benefits to help you grow in your career.

 

Night Shift

 

Things You’ll Do 

  • Make minor adjustments and repairs on machinery 
  • Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, industrial electrical systems and controls 
  • Monitor the operation of cuber, conveyor, stretch wrap machine, block machine and other nearby equipment to detect and report malfunctions. 
  • Visually inspect products and by-products for conformity to prescribed quality standards such as color, shape, and corners. Remove poor quality products and by-products as required. 
  • Learn and correctly use the appropriate sorting and stacking patterns for each product as required on a cubing machine. Operate computer to change codes for stacking patterns. 
  • Assist with training of new employees. 

 

Requirements 

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • General knowledge of concrete.
  • Basic knowledge of heavy equipment.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Basic knowledge of industrial plant functions.
