We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our team as Safety Coordinator

 

Things You’ll Do  

  • Visit job sites and monitor safety compliance 
  • Get to know the workforce and build a relationship of trust 
  • Perform safety inspections of company facilities, production plants, and equipment, then follow up with stakeholders on findings 
  • Conduct safety trainings and attend site safety meetings 
  • Analyze and report on incident trends 
  • Function as a safety expert on safety related issues 
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA/ MSHA regulations.  

 

Requirements  

  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations 
  • 3+ years of safety experience 
  • The ability to establish trusting and partnered relationships with all people 
  • Excellent conflict management and problem-solving skills 
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration 
  • An insurable driving record 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or a safety-related certification is preferred, but not required
