Suncore is seeking a visionary Director of Project Controls to lead the development and execution of our enterprise-wide project controls strategy. In this high-impact role, you’ll drive process optimization, implement cutting-edge systems, and champion best practices across cost control, scheduling, and reporting. Things You’ll Do  

• Lead the strategic development and execution of project controls across the organization. 

• Establish and standardize processes for cost management, scheduling, forecasting, and reporting. 

• Select and optimize project controls software and tools. 

• Develop governance frameworks to ensure compliance and consistency. 

• Benchmark industry best practices and integrate them into all project phases. 

• Design and lead training programs to build internal capability. 

• Mentor project controls staff and promote knowledge sharing. 

• Create KPIs and executive dashboards to monitor performance and risk. 

• Provide leadership with insights and recommendations for decision-making. 

• Perform any additional duties as assigned to support business objectives. 

Requirements  

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred). 

• 10+ years of experience in project controls, cost engineering, or scheduling, with 5+ years in a leadership role. 

• Proven success in implementing enterprise-wide project controls strategies and training programs. 

• Expert knowledge of project controls tools and software (e.g., HCSS Suite, Trimble, Plan Swift, Dynamics 365, AutoCAD). 

• Strong leadership and stakeholder alignment skills. 

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Experience in change management and organizational transformation.
